Blauer Reiter
  Methods and Principles
  • Training which conforms to traditional principles, with special emphasis on mental and physical "suppleness" (long and low) at all levels of training
  • Correct basic work and systematic development based on progressive training within the bounds of the individual possibilities appropriate for the age group
  • Development of the individual’s strengths
  • Dressage in the form of physical exercises, which help to teach horses to move in balance and through their own body under the rider up to the highest level
  • Alternative training activities such as "Cavaletti" and "Gymnastic-Jumping,” exercises,
riding on the galloping track, and trail rides
  • Instruction that combines fundamental expertise with intuitive empathy for an individual Rider-Horse-Combination
  • Encouragement of progressive development, as opposed to making excessive demands, through the consistent and logical structure of the training session. This goes hand in hand with the primary purpose of our training program, achieving a higher degree of harmony, efficiency and satisfaction for the individual horse and rider combination
